Project launch (2016)

to overcome solvent/toxic-impurity residues of chemical synthesis and the high cost of mushroom extraction, the company formed an R&D team and began green fermentation of ergothioneine.

R&D (2016–2020)

through strain screening, fermentation design, process optimization and purification improvements, the company achieved stable production of 99.99%-purity ergothioneine by green fermentation.

Scale-up (2021)

a fully automated fermentation line enabled stable mass production at 99.99% purity, +124° optical rotation and <10 ppm total heavy metals, via enzymatic directed fermentation — true green production.

International recognition (2024–2025)

Dr.Ergo® ergothioneine obtained U.S. FDA GRAS status (GRN 1191); NSF certification and the group standard T/CEAC 036-2024.
